Book a consultation.

At Rooted, we understand that finding a therapist is incredibly personal. We take relationships seriously here, so let’s make sure we are a good fit. A consultation is a complementary 15 minute phone call so you can ask any questions you have and get a feel for who we are.

FAQs

  • Our initial session is us getting to know one another. We will gather some history to better understand your issues and construct a treatment plan personalized to you. We will talk about your goals and what you want out of therapy. After that, we will go into interventions that help your identified issues to get you on track with your goals. We want to help you get to where you want to be and then on your way you will go.

  • No, in fact, most people don’t. They just know things aren’t going the way they want them to in their life. Many people come to therapy to explore what could be going on that is preventing them from creating the life they want. Other people may be in a current crisis and in need of support. It really depends on where you are and what you’re looking for.

  • For individual sessions, we charge $150 and the sessions are 50 minutes long. For couples and families, we charge $185 and the sessions are 50 minutes long. We do offer extended sessions for families, couples, and EMDR therapy if there is significant trauma. Those sessions are $225 and they are 105 minutes.

We are an in network provider with Aetna, BCBS, Cigna, United Healthcare, Oscar, and Oxford. If you are choosing to use private pay, we can provide you with a bill that you can submit to your insurance for out-of-network benefits. Your reimbursement will depend on your insurance.

  • We value effective modalities that provide tangible results. From the owner of Rooted, Lacey, “One of my frustrations in seeking my own therapy was going in every week and talking about what was annoying me in my life but never getting to the bottom of what was causing all of my problems. This is hamster wheel therapy and I am not about it. I like to make sure changes in your life are actually happening, so I will keep us on track with your goals and not get us caught up in “the crisis of the day.” This way, you will have long-lasting benefits of therapy and not have to engage in it for years on end with no resolve.”
